Conditions of Sale

This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of products & services by Propello Limited to you.

Our contract

When you place an order to purchase a product or service from Propello we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we’ve dispatched that product to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”) or in the case of services, the time and location where it shall be carried out. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Medical Disclaimer

The Propello Training Programmes contain many of the latest concepts in cycle training. Our workouts involve strenuous physical activity and you should check with your GP if you have ANY doubt as to whether the programme is suitable for you. You participate in Propello training, coaching or guiding programmes at your own risk and know of no disability or medical condition, physical or mental, which could affect your ability to take part in a training programme, coaching session or guided cycle ride.

Road Ride Guiding Terms and Conditions

Thank you very much for your interest in Propello and its Exmoor guiding services. We take great care to provide you with a quality of service that will exceed your expectations.

All bookings with Propello are subject to these conditions:

  1. Propello does not insure its clients whether for medical costs, against cancellation losses, against the clients’ own liability to third parties, or any other type of insurance. Please ensure that you and all members of your party have suitable travel insurance cover in respect of medical costs, cancellation and liability to third parties.
  2. Propello requires each client to have his or her own liability insurance and legal assistance to at least British Cycling Ride Membership level or equivalent.
  3. Each client acknowledges that the client rides at their own risk, and has no knowledge of any medical condition, physical or mental, which could affect their ability to take part in the ride.
  4. To ensure that we can provide the best, most enjoyable and safest rides for our clients please provide us with any relevant health and injury information that can enable your guide to look after you. This information should be provided by email before you begin your first ride.
  5. As a condition of booking all clients will be required to wear a helmet and to follow The Highway Code – in particular the ‘Extra Rules for Cyclists (Rules 187-211). Failure to do so will result in being asked to leave the group. No refund or reduction will be given in this instance.
  6. Group bookings. Propello operates it guided rides on a private basis with a minimum daily rate. As such individuals will not be grouped together unless they have booked as a group or have agreed to be grouped together in advance.
  7. Clients attending our guided rides must pay the appropriate fee in full, before joining the ride. In the case of advance bookings we will reserve your place for a maximum of ten days from the date of issue of the booking proposal. Please return your remittance within this period. The issue of a receipt from our office will confirm your booking.
  8. Prices may be subject to revision from time to time but are clearly stated on the Propello website. The price for advance bookings will be kept at the agreed price provided remittance has been made within ten days of issue of the booking proposal.
  9. We accept payment by BACS and Paypal.
  10. A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the booking will be required within ten days of the booking proposal.
  11. A full and final payment of the remaining 70% of the total cost will be required two months before your guided ride begins.
  12. In the unfortunate event of you cancelling your booking, the following charges will apply: more than two months notice – loss of deposit; less than two months notice 100% of fee.
  13. In the unfortunate event of Propello cancelling your booking we shall repay you all monies paid in full within fourteen days.
  14. In the case of bookings for Exmoor guided rides, Propello reserves the right to change the route for the ride(s) where this is deemed necessary due to adverse weather conditions or the riding ability of the client(s).
  15. Should clients not attend for the start of a booked and paid for guided ride through ill health, injury, weather, change of route, or any other reason no refund will be given.
  16. In the event of weather conditions that make riding dangerous (such as, but not limited to, snow and ice) Propello will offer all clients an alternative day(s) to complete the guided ride.
  17. Booking with Propello is purely for the participation in the guided rides and does not include the hire or use of any equipment or personal insurance (as stated on point 1)
  18. Booking contracts are subject to English law and any disputes arising under or relating to a clients booking with Propello is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  19. If your service does not meet your expectations please speak to your guide and contact the office to see if we can resolve the situation.

Training and Coaching General Terms and Conditions

Thank you very much for your interest in Propello Training and Coaching services. We take great care to provide you with a quality of service that will exceed your expectations.

All bookings with Propello are subject to these conditions:

  1. Propello requires each client to have his or her own liability insurance and legal assistance to at least British Cycling Ride Membership level or equivalent.
  2. To ensure that we can provide the best, most enjoyable and safest rides and training programmes for our clients please provide us with any relevant health and injury information that can enable your coach to look after you. This information should be provided by email before you begin your first training programme or coaching session.
  3. As a condition of riding with Propello all clients will be required to wear a helmet and to follow The Highway Code – in particular the ‘Extra Rules for Cyclists (Rules 187-211). Failure to do so will result in being asked to leave the group. No refund or reduction will be given in this instance.
  4. Clients purchasing our training programmes or must pay the appropriate fee in full, before delivery of their training programme. The issue of a receipt from our office will confirm your purchase that will be delivered to you within 48 hours.
  5. Prices may be subject to revision from time to time but are clearly stated on the Propello website.
  6. We accept payment by BACS and PayPal.
  7. In the unfortunate event of you cancelling your training programme or coaching service, no refund will be made.
  8. In the unfortunate event of Propello cancelling your training programme or coaching service, we shall repay you all monies paid for the current plan in full within fourteen days.
  9. In the case of  training rides, Propello reserves the right to change the route for the ride(s) where this is deemed necessary due to adverse weather conditions or the riding ability of the client(s).
  10. Should clients not attend for the start of a booked and paid for training ride through ill health, injury, weather, change of route, or any other reason refunds will be at the discretion of Propello.
  11. In the event of weather conditions that make riding dangerous (such as but not limited, to snow and ice) Propello will offer all clients an alternative day(s) to complete the training ride.
  12. Booking with Propello is purely for the participation in the training programmes, coaching services and training rides and does not include the hire or use of any equipment or personal insurance (as stated on point 1)
  13. Booking contracts are subject to English law and any disputes arising under or relating to a clients booking with Propello is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  14. If your service does not meet your expectations please speak to your coach and contact the office to see if we can resolve the situation.

Individual Coaching

  1. We do not ask any of our Individual Coaching clients to sign a contract. We aim to deliver the highest quality of coaching. If our service does not meet your requirements or expectations then you are free to terminate our coaching relationship at any time.
  2. If you wish to temporarily  cease your individual coaching programme but still wish to keep your account with us live  we charge £20 per month. This will guarantee you a space when you decide to return to coaching, will ensure that you come back on the same monthly tariff and will not have to pay a second set up fee.
